SI Makerspace Camp “Space is the Place”

I had the greatest time with these students. Over the course of one week we explored spacial relationships, negative space, view finders, brain hemispheres, visual perceptions, monocular and binocular vision, composition, visual measurements. We practiced with watercolor, pastels, pencils, markers and paint on many different types of paper. Exploring art with kids is such an amazing experience. Its such a genuine way to get to know them for who they are and respect their perspectives but more importantly help them to respect their own.
